In Vantage, players assume the roles of crew members from an intergalactic vessel that crash-lands on an uncharted planet. Scattered across the planet, players explore nearly 800 interconnected locations represented on 400 cards and over 900 other discoverable cards. Communication is key, as players can support each other but are separated by vast distances, with each viewing their location from a first-person perspective. Success can be defined through various victories, including mission, destiny, or epic victories, and the game is designed as a standalone experience without expansions.
