In Tend, players assume the role of pioneers working for the Zenith corporation to establish homesteads on a new alien world. Each player builds their own farm, collects goods, and sends them back to Zenith HQ for study. The game utilizes a shared deck of action cards, with new cards added as the game progresses, altering available actions. Victory points are earned by collecting badges, completing seasonal objectives, being the best neighbor, and filling the Cargo Manifest with goods. The player with the most victory points at the end wins.
