In Pandemic, players take on the roles of disease-fighting specialists working together to prevent global outbreaks of four deadly diseases. Using cooperative play, players move between cities, treat infections, share knowledge, and work to discover cures before time runs out or the diseases become uncontrollable. The game is lost if the diseases spread too far, too many outbreaks occur, or if the players run out of cards.
